About
From the age of 4, Brandon has immersed himself in the performing arts. Brandon spent much of his childhood producing elaborate shows with his siblings. The Wardle family home was the epicenter of his creative adventures. He and his brother built a replica of the Star Trek set in their basement and filmed their own using an RCA VHS Camcorder.
His love for the arts continued into high school, where he was the Senior Producer and Lead Scriptwriter for his high school's Emmy nominated Broadcast Journalism and Video Production program. Brandon spent a great deal of time both in front of and behind the camera lens. He was the co-anchor for the citywide morning news, lead commentator for the local basketball games, and produced numerous segments, documentaries, and short films.
After studying Journalism at E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, Brandon entered the Corporate World in Boston in attempt to pursue a "normal" career. While working in a "cubicle land" in Corporate America, he enrolled in improv training at the Improv Asylum in Boston and it reminded him of the importance of creativity and collaboration in his life.
After back-to-back blizzards in Boston, he moved to Hawaii for supreme juxtaposition. While working in Honolulu, he enrolled in acting classes at Scott Rogers Studios and there was no turning back. Shortly after his passion for acting was reignited, Brandon relocated to California and has been working in TV and film. He has written and produced two award-winning short films, acted in numerous films including most recently the upcoming Transformers prequel Bumblebee (2018), Golden (2018), and Youth (2016), and stars as Sam in the feature film, Frisky (2015). For his role of Sam, he has been nominated twice for 'Best Actor.'
Whether climbing a mountain, commuting via bicycle, shooting behind the lens, or studying cinema, Brandon's inspiration is at an intersection of human experience, emotion, the natural world, and the aesthetics humans inject into it. He hopes to continue making films with meaningful messages.
